Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and the reason our book sales are a success. Read this document for more information about the volunteer opportunites and how you can help. It's a great activity for high school students, service clubs and community groups. Grab a friend, sign up for a shift and have some fun!

WHY DO WE HOLD A USED BOOK SALE?

The money we raise supports our adult literacy program. Our trained volunteer tutors work one-on-one with local adults to help them improve their reading, writing, and math skills. Some learners are seeking skills for further independence, while others are trying to upgrade for better employment or educational opportunities.

In 2013, we sold close to $19,000 worth of used books at our sale, thanks to the generosity of people like you.

EMAIL DISTRIBUTION LIST

If you would like to receive occasional emails about our used book sale, we can put you on a distribution list. Call us at 905.469.8528 or email us. (Because we don't have year-round storage, we only collect books in the spring.)
